Fluid Biomed is a medical device start-up at the University of Calgary that was started by two neurosurgeons, Dr. John Wong and Dr. Alim Mitha. They came up with a polymer-based stent that promotes the repair of blood vessels by renaming blood flow from fragile aneurysms in the brain.
