Care Medical, which provides Amazon care services, has reportedly filed paperwork for starting a business in 17 more states.
Care Medical, which is providing the medical services for the app-based Amazon care, is now appearing to prepare for the expansion throughout the country. It is now raising quotations regarding the future of tech behemoth in the healthcare space.
Currently, Amazon Care is Connecting with Washington state Amazon Employers with the Care medical providers using an app for a wide variety of primary and urgent services for care. Individuals in the greater Seattle area now can also have the nurses dispatched to their homes. This is for following up on the needs similar to blood draws.
This relationship between Care Medical and Amazon care is not so clear. Amazon has also described it as care Medical which is sharing much of the branding like a signature arrow with the retailing giants.
The practice with the STAT notes is listing a P.O Box in downtown Seattle with its address. The phone number listed on the Official Care Medical documents, is automatically redirecting.
According to the documents which were filed with the Washington Secretary of the State’s Office in April, the Care Medical started as Oasis Medical group. In August 2020, Oasis also filed a change of its name as Care Medical.
As the STAT reports, Care Medical has moved to the legal headquarters from Washington to Wyoming. It has filed paperwork in Georgia. It also reportedly filed the paperwork to start a business in Hawaii, Alaska, Maine, and Maryland.
Amazon has made repeated forays into healthcare over the last few years. The company is also extending with the Amazon Care service for better growth. The company is a highly publicized Haven initiative and co-founded with J. P Morgan and Berkshire Hathaway, which generated the news about the potential disruption in the industry.
In the past 3 years, Haven has explored many healthcare solutions and piloted new ways to make primary care much easier.
