Jeddah’s International Medical Center is the first one to adopt a cloud-based EMR system

This is following the commencement of its project along with InterSystems. The multidisciplinary hospitals here will operate InterSystems TrakCare.

The first member of the Mayo Clinic Care Newyork in Saudi Arabia has come up with an announcement. The announcement also includes the commencement regarding the unified cloud-based EMR system along with the InterSystems.

The International Medical Center is a multidisciplinary hospital in Jeddah. It is also operating several facilities in this city. It is now running the InterSystem TrakCare. This is following the signing of an agreement that took place in November of 2020.

Adopting the EMR will be a very exciting journey for IMC. TrakCare will also enhance its IMC’s cloud footprint in the line along with Saudi Arabia’s Kingdom. This is the first cloud-first technology in the country. Hence, they will become the first-ever hospital to use the Cloud-based EMR.

Also, this will continue to support them with their future growth and with the expansion programs. This standardization of the EMR is quite critical for the success of this project. It is striking a perfect balance between enhanced patient care and optimum technology.

TrakCare is currently serving 100 million people in 27 countries. It is providing the clinical administrative and the information of the financial matter. Also, it will work as a single source of truth for each of the patients in one EMR. It is working with its built-in integration technology for keeping it up to date along with the data for an organization.

The system has its implementation as a service. It has a private cloud-based healthcare information system. Also, it is following an OPEX model, which is relying upon subscriptions. It will run the IMC Hospital, Petro Rabigh Clinic, Tadawi Center, The First Clinic, and First Scan.

According to IMC, TrakCare has recently addressed a mobile and a touchscreen-enabled interface for the users. It will help to optimize the user experience. They are also leveraging the TrakCare EHR with comprehensive workflows and the practices of global standards.

This latest adoption is part of their company’s effort. The effort is looking to align with the Saudi Vision 2030 and to offer world-class healthcare services. This system will amplify their ability to achieve their quadruple aim.
