CharmHealth, a California-based healthcare technology solution provider, is inviting more proposals for its 2024 Innovation Challenge as the application deadline approaches.

The company invites healthcare innovators, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, students, and non-profits to present fresh technology ideas that can advance healthcare for the annual competition.

Founded in 2007 by Dr. Pramila Srinivasan, the annual challenge allows individuals, groups, or organizations to showcase their unique healthcare inventions and innovations to prospective investors, partners, and incubators who can help advance them to commercialization.

According to the company’s latest announcement, potential applicants have until 12:00 p.m. PDT on August 5 to submit their proposals. Anyone can submit a proposal for free.

CharmHealth Technology Innovation Challenge

CharmHealth Innovation Challenge focuses on innovative products and technology solutions for digital health and the EHR domain. This allows the company to direct its expertise and resources to foster advancements and innovations in HER and other related areas.

The company accepts proposals for the 2024 Innovation Challenge in the following six categories.

  • Hardware Accelerated AI
  • Generative AI
  • Tech Led Innovations
  • Mobile Health Apps
  • Healthcare Accessibility
  • Population Health

 

The winners of the first position in every category will receive a prize of $10,000; the second position will receive $5,000, and the third-place winners will receive $2,500. Fifteen candidates will be selected to attend the annual challenge, which is scheduled for Aug. 23-25, 2024, at the Charmalot Annual User Conference in Washington, D.C.

Finalists will have a special opportunity to present their proposals to potential investors in a Pitch Day event meant to give the innovators a chance to woe their prospective investors who can help advance their project to the market.

According to Pramila Srinivasan, CEO of CharmHealth, the annual innovation challenge provides an avenue for sharing the best innovative solutions and the mechanisms for turning them into usable products that can transform healthcare.
