Most recently she was Vice President at the American Institutes for Research preceded by work for Mathematica Policy Research as a Senior Researcher. For over 15 years Yael served in various leadership positions within the Department of Health and Human Services including Director of the Office of Quality and Safety in the Office of the Assistant Secretary, Director of the Office of Health IT and Quality at the Health Resources and Services Administration, Director of Evaluation at the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT, and Technical Advisor at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. She earned her doctorate in public policy at the University of Maryland where she currently serves as an adjunct professor. Her research has published in multiple peer-reviewed journals and presented to national audiences include the White House and Congress. Yael has dedicated her career to increasing access to quality health care for all communities through digital transformation.
