Ontrak Health, a behavioral health prediction and care management platform, has partnered with Sentara Health Plans to expand its offerings to commercially-insured as well as self-funded members in Virginia through Sentara’s Marketplace.
The partnership between Ontrak and Sentara will help expand behavioral health offerings through Ontrak’s Engage platform, according to a news report by Mobile Health News.
The Engage platform offers 12-month coaching options for members eligible to address physical and behavioral health barriers and their social needs. It uses AI to accurately identify people whose chronic conditions can improve through behavioral changes and recommend care pathways for optimal results.
Improving Access to Behavioral Healthcare
The expansion of Engage’s offering to self-funded and commercially-insured members on an opt-in basis allows more members to access constant care coaching tailored to address their behavioral and physical needs.
The recent addition of Ontrak’s Engage solutions to Sentara’s marketplace will allow Ontrak to offer its Advanced Engagement System to a wide range of customers within Sentara’s commercial plan members and continue Ontrak’s expansion efforts in the healthcare sector.
Ontrak’s latest partnership follows the company’s acquisition of an employees-focused behavioral health platform, LifeDojo, in 2020.
The platform combines personalized coaching with member-centric approaches aimed at helping employees engage in health habits such as healthy diet, being active, and getting more sleep.
According to Mary Lou Osborne, President and Chief Commercial Officer at Ontrak Health, the partnership will help it to offer its Engage solution to a broader population through expanded Sentara Health Plans.
