A leading provider of virtual care platform, AvaSure, has partnered with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to build a virtual concierge solution with NVIDIA full-stack AI technology to streamline clinical workflow and improve patient care outcomes in healthcare systems and hospitals.

The high-tech virtual concierge will leverage Oracle’s AI offerings (including OCI compute), AvaSure’s Intelligent Virtual Care Platform, and NVIDIA’s powerful technology infrastructure to provide a seamless AI-powered bedside experience, enabling smart rooms to operate efficiently.

With the persistent staffing shortages in the healthcare sector, increasing patients’ needs, and rising costs, this powerful virtual platform will enable healthcare organizations to integrate AI-powered technology solutions, reducing workflow burden on bedside patient care staff.

Revolutionizing Patient Care With AI-driven Solutions

The virtual concierge is designed to help hospitals and healthcare organizations to develop a centralized coordination to manage the growing resources and touchpoints as healthcare organizations build smart rooms.

With the virtual concierge, healthcare organizations can triage patient requests and staff in real-time, becoming a vital point of assistance for patients, clinicians, and patient’s families.

The system will work like at-home voice-activated assistants, enabling clinicians to promptly request language translation and other services by using a ‘wake word.’ This will enhance care delivery and improve the work environment for healthcare staff.

According to Adam McMullin, CEO of AvaSure, the collaboration marks a major milestone in the company’s goal to revolutionize patient care using intelligent virtual solutions.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s executive vice president, Mahesh Thiagarajan, also emphasized the company’s commitment to supporting AvaSure and other healthcare entities in enhancing patient care through cloud infrastructure and artificial intelligence solutions.

The virtual concierge is expected to be operational by 2025, offering hospitals and other healthcare entities a powerful platform to optimize clinical workflows and improve patient care.
