Open Health, a UK-based health tech company, has partnered with a Singapore-based artificial intelligence (AI) and machine Learning (ML) startup, Fusion, to deliver AI-powered communications in the healthcare sector.

According to the latest announcement, the collaboration will allow Open Health to integrate Fusion’s cutting-edge AI capabilities into its global client base of industry-leading pharmaceutical companies, mostly the top 50 pharmaceutical companies from across the globe.

This partnership comes at a critical time when health tech companies are rapidly turning to advanced AI and machine learning technologies to extend access to their healthcare-focused platforms, improve efficiency, and cut down on operations-related costs.

Since starting up an Artificial intelligence and AI company can be very costly and may also take a significant amount of time, partnerships, consolidations, and mergers are pivotal in expanding operations and increasing the audience base of healthcare-focused companies.

With partnerships, companies can integrate AI-powered technology from tech startups into their platform operations effortlessly without having to invest a huge chunk of capital in developing their own AI technology.

According to Margot Hannah, Chief Executive Officer of Scientific Communications at OPEN Health, the company sought an exclusive partnership with Fusion to provide pioneering technology solutions that will help it expand platform capabilities by leveraging Fusion’s extensive expertise in Ain and ML to offer more functionalities to its clients.

Steve Duryee, Chief Operating and Transformation Officer at OPEN Health, also added that the company is committed to harnessing the power of revolutionary technologies such as robotic process automation, data analytics, AI, and ML to drive higher value for clients and improve outcomes through innovation and efficiency.

With this significant partnership, it remains to be seen how the developments will contribute to the company’s growth, as well as its effect on the healthcare sector.
