As a part of the Bupa Global Network, Bupa Arabia has backed the health tech startup as part of its mission to improve customer experience. It will also elevate the level of digital healthcare services.

CFO Nader Ashoor has explained that one of the key strategic priorities of Bupa Arabia is to mark the expansion of its investment portfolio in innovative companies.

The partnership comes in line along with the aspirations of the Ministry of Health of Saudi, the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance, and the Central Bank. It will also drive the digital transformation in the sector following the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objective.

With its start in 2018 by Fodhil Benturquia, Okadoc describes itself as the one-stop-shop for a patient engagement platform. It is directly integrated with the providers of health information systems. It also allows patients to see real-time availability and to book videos and appointments easily without any admin support.

This partnership will see Bupa Arabia’s members getting the offer of instant medical appointments with doctors across 60+ specialties. Lastly, Bupa Arabia announced the launch of its telehealth platform, which specializes in healthcare services like consultations and appointment booking.

The company thinks that digital transformation is the key pillar of its strategy. They also commit to transforming the delivery of healthcare services. Hence they are working on expanding the digital leadership in creating sustainable tech solutions.
