Body Vision Medical: LungVision® Disrupts Bronchoscopy
Body Vision Medical’s LungVision® system leverages the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to transform C-arm tomographic imaging system that can be used for real-time augmented fluoroscopic imaging, 3D tomographic scans, and advanced bronchoscopic navigation.
The system’s real-time imaging enables bronchoscopists to biopsy from peripheral pulmonary lesions with greater precision and speed, maximizing the chances of early lung cancer detection, resulting in early treatments and improved survival.
Compared to most peripheral navigation bronchoscopies limited in locating their intended target precisely due to CT-to-body-divergence, LungVision® system is designed to overcome such challenges by enabling accurate navigation to the nodule and confirmation of tool-in-lesion.
Due to its significant precision, the LungVision® system’s diagnostic yield is about 90% in any bronchoscopy setup. The breakthrough system also utilizes AI Tomography® for 3D tomographic imaging at a fraction of the radiation used by other traditional systems, such as fixed cone-beam CT (CBCT) or mobile 3D C-arm.
Body Vision Medical’s LungVision® system also allows bronchoscopists to use any bronchoscopic tools and C-arms to navigate without obligatory consumables. The system allows bronchoscopists to achieve the same real-world diagnostic outcomes usually achieved using multi-million cone-beam CT and robotic bronchoscopy setups.
