Health technology company CopilotIQ and Biofourmis, a tech-backed home care solutions leader, have merged to create the first end-to-end platform to offer comprehensive AI-driven in-home care.
The newly developed platform is designed to deliver a full range of care covering pre-surgical optimization to chronic care management.
As part of the merger deal, all investors from the two business entities, including OpenSpace Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, and General Atlantic, will continue investing in the newly founded business.
Addressing Challenges in In-Home Care Delivery
The new combined business provides an all-in-one platform that simplifies in-home care delivery by managing multiple points for a wide range of care needs, alleviating complexities and fragmentations, which are common challenges of the modern healthcare sector.
The platform comes with numerous advantages, including comprehensive in-home care, allowing hospitals and other healthcare organizations to deliver a full-spectrum of care through a single vendor.
It also provides a full host of solutions that allow for patient management across the healthcare continuum while allowing for easy integration, data management, and streamlined operations.
This allows healthcare organizations to significantly minimize the administrative burden, allowing them to deliver a more convenient and well-coordinated healthcare experience for patients.
According to David Koretz, CEO of the newly combined business entity, the healthcare management platform aims to transform care delivery by extending care services to the comfort of their rooms while driving improved care outcomes at the lowest cost possible.
