Tony Black, is a recognized leader in the field of Healthcare IT and Privacy, is a global director for the Kyndryl Cloud Practice with over 20 years of information technology and software expertise. He has been a featured speaker at HIMSS (Healthcare Information Management Systems Society), where he is a Fellow and holds multiple board and committee positions including Professional Development Chair, Professional Certification Board, and the Cybersecurity and Privacy Committee, and is a Healthcare Advisor at NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers). He is also an active member of The Open Group Healthcare Forum, Security Forum, Digital Practitioners Work Group, TOGAF, and IT4IT forums. Tony is also the Chair of the Open Professions board which oversees the certification process for several technology professions such as Technical Specialists, Architects, and Data Science. He is a member of the Open Group Board of Directors, where he helps to provide vision and growth for the organisation while maintaining 7 Open Group certifications. Before Kyndryl, Tony was at IBM, where he was a member of the IBM Academy of Technology, the IBM Industry Academy, and a Sr. Inventor. At Kyndryl, Tony is the global leader of the Healthcare Guild and the Global Profession leader of the Technical Specialist profession.
