Rula Health, a platform that connects users with a vast network of mental health providers, has partnered with Amazon Health Services to expand mental health services to more patients.
As reported earlier by Mobilehealth News, the partnership will allow Amazon users to access Rula Health’s network of over 10,000 mental health professionals through Amazon’s Health Conditions Programs in just a few clicks.
With this partnership, Rula will expand its offering to more patients looking for virtual mental health services and offer support through multiple steps involved in the mental health care experience.
Rula Health’s platform provides access to over 80 clinical specialists from 50 states and Washington, D.C., allowing customers to enjoy the benefits of digital health coverage offered by their employers or their personal insurance carriers.
How Users Will Access the New Services
As announced by Rula Health, the partnership allows Amazon users to receive mental health services using keywords such as “anxiety relief” or “stress relief.”
Based on their keywords, the platform’s algorithms would then sift through the lists of over 10,000 service providers and connect the patient with the most appropriate provider who accepts the health insurance they currently use.
The process of matching patients with the ‘best-fit’ providers takes minutes and allows the patients to receive services they’re looking for as soon as possible through quick appointments and next day in-person consultation.
Rula’s platform’s advanced matching capabilities allow the patients the flexibility to connect to the best-fit mental health professionals based on their preferred language, cultural background, race, as well as specific treatment approaches.
