Last week, UNC Health Pardee teammates who suffered from the Hurricane Helene catastrophe also received support from the support from NCHF. The North Carolina Healthcare Foundation Disaster Relief Fund was instrumental in extending more than $40,000 in financial assistance to 82 UNC Health Pardee teammates.
Such funds are then used by hospital staff to overcome the effects of hurricanes and to be able to respond to the community’s needs.
Pardee Hospital Foundation Facilitates Distribution
The Pardee Hospital Foundation felt privileged to immerse itself in the disbursement of these reunion funds in order to help those healthcare heroes who were impacted by the storm get the assistance they were owed. The ability to get support from a concerned community in these troubled times is heartwarming, according to a representative from the Foundation.
A Grateful Thank You to NCHF
NCHF has endeavored to offer its support to human beings who have devoted their efforts to the well-being of others. Many thanks are due to NCHF and to everyone in the healthcare working fraternity for coming forth in a spirit of solidarity at this challenging time.
“It is an honor to announce the support we have received from NCHF,” UNC Health Pardee leaders stated. “It also shows goodwill towards the team as well as the overall betterment of the social tissue of our society.”
This act of kindness is going to inspire the UNC Health Pardee team to go on with the task of offering quality services to everyone in need.
