TadHealth, a California-based health tech startup specializing in mental software as a service platform, has secured $1.6 million in a seed funding round to transform mental health services in schools.
As announced by the company on May 23, 2024, the oversubscribed funding round was spearheaded by Halcyon Venture Partners, with significant contributions from USC Viterbi School of Engineering Venture Fund, Halcyon Angels, and RevFund.
Co-founded in 2021 by Ben Greine, TadHealth started as a local team of software experts at USC Viterbi Startup Garage and grew rapidly into a notable healthcare SaaS company after delivering key contracts in the K-12 market.
The company’s platform can centralize data management, streamline processes, and leverage robust analytics. The integration allows for more informed decision-making, helping proactively identify needs and implement cost-saving measures through billing.
With the company focusing on transforming mental health services delivery and economics in the education system at scale, the platform simplifies access to resources, tracking, and management.
Its educator-friendly software platform helps counselors spend little time on paperwork and more on students. Additionally, the platform allows students and parents to get better support and personalized resources from their school community.
According to the announcement, TadHealth will use the capital to meet the growing demand for a more efficient and effective way to address student’s mental health in schools, expanding its market presence and enhancing its product capabilities.
