PeopleOne Health, a hybrid care startup focusing on helping people achieve their full well-being through preventive care, has secured 32.3 million in a series B funding round backed by GV (Google Ventures), Transcarent boss Glen Tullman, and other undisclosed angel investors.
Co-founded in 2021 by Jordan Taradash, Patrick Reilly, and Chris Downie, the company is a value-based primary care provider for employers, allowing employees hybrid access to a variety of healthcare providers, including primary care physicians, physical therapists, nutritionists, mental health providers, diagnostics experts, pharmacists, and social workers.
PeopleOne Health resulted from a merger between Spark360, a leading coaching platform, and Empower360, a primary care startup, in 2021. In 2023, the company announced a strategic collaboration with PBGH, a not-for-profit organization housing 40 public entities and private employers.
Being an employer-focused platform, employers cover the company’s offerings, leaving employees with no obligation to pay for deductibles, coinsurance, and copays. Additionally, PeopleOne Health allows employers access to virtual care.
The company opened its first locations in Pennsylvania and recently opened its first brick-and-mortar location in Florida.
As reported by Mobile Health News, the company will use the new investment to advance its efforts in revolutionizing access to high-quality care through affordable health plans, supporting business development, expanding services, and fueling growth.
