Phoenix-based software-as-a-medical device startup Mindset Medical, Inc. has secured $8M in series A financing round to further develop its digital health solutions, Informed Vital Core, a non-contact physiological measurements application for healthcare professionals.
Part of the funding will support the company’s clinical validation for using its new digital health software solutions as a medical device. The just-concluded funding round was co-led by Questa Capital and Grayhawk Capital, with significant contributions from Amgen Ventures, AZ Venture Development Corporation, and Nova Prime.
Mindset Medical’s Digital Health Platform
Mindset Medical’s platform combines data from traditional physical care with the convenience and safety of virtual care. It uses secure and encrypted links delivered to patients via text message connections to help care providers better serve their customers.
Additionally, the digital health platform allows healthcare providers to collect patient data in near real-time to support patient outcome and recovery monitoring without the need for external or specialized devices. As such, all data collection and communications are done on the patient’s mobile device or smartphone. This allows healthcare professionals to measure physiological vital signals to monitor health interactions remotely.
Mindset Medical’s digital health software solutions include REMOTE VIDEO VITALS 1 for confirming patients’ health, REMOTE PATIENT MONITORING software for monitoring patients’ health, PATIENT CENTRIC to help engage and educate patients, and PRECISION ANALYTICS to help healthcare professionals make informed decisions based on up-to-the-minute patient physiological data.
With the additional capital raised, Mindset Medical, Inc. is seeking to advance the feasibility of its virtual health applications.
