Semble, a London-based provider of integrated clinical systems for all types of healthcare businesses, has secured a $15 million Series B funding round spearheaded by Mercia Ventures.
According to a news report by Tech Funding News (TFN), the round also received significant support from Octopus Ventures, Triple Point, and Smedvig Ventures.
The new investment will help strengthen the company’s market position in the United Kingdom (UK) and fuel expansion efforts in France, where it launched in September.
The new capital infusion will also play a critical role in fueling the company’s expansion efforts, helping drive innovations, automation, and integrations that cover the essential needs of both small and well-established health businesses.
Revolutionizing the Healthcare Systems with an AI
Christoph Lippuner and Mikael Landau co-founded the platform for the second time in 2018 after witnessing the growing administrative challenges in the healthcare sector.
According to a report by the British Medical Association, doctors in England lose about 13.5 million hours of work per year due to inadequate information technology (IT) systems.
As such, the platform’s features are tailored to provide viable solutions to help healthcare professionals focus more on patient care and spend less time on administrative tasks.
Sembles all-in-one system enables healthcare organizations to automate medical and administrative tasks while providing secure data integration with third-party entities such as laboratories, pharmacies, and hospitals.
The platform is currently deployed by over 10,000 healthcare professionals in over 70 specialties across the United Kingdom (UK).
