AI-powered primary care platform provider K Health has secured $50 million in equity funding round to expand clinical AI to personalized primary care within US healthcare systems.
According to the company’s announcement, the startup’s latest funding round was led by Claure Group, a global entrepreneurial investment firm, supported by contributions from Pablo Legorreta— founder and CEO of Royalty Pharma, Mangrove Capital Partners, Atreides Management, LP, and Valor Equity Partners.
Founded by Allon Bloch in 2016, K Health is the only AI-driven health tech company that operates a peer-reviewed clinical-grade AI for primary care.
The startup’s AI-powered technology simplifies primary care visits into a seamless experience that begins with an AI-powered co-pilot and ends with clinicians’ support, diagnosis and treatment.
Clinical Grade AI Co-pilot for Personalized Primary Care
K Health provides an AI-driven health-tech platform that allows patients to experience personalized care from their smartphones.
Once on the platform, patients engage in a personalized chat with the platform’s AI-powered co-pilot. The co-pilot grounds the patient’s assessment in relevant electronic medical records (EMRs) and then forwards perfect medical charts with insights to care providers for individualized diagnosis and treatment.
This saves time that could have otherwise been used to scroll through vast amounts of data in EMRs, improving the speed of care delivery and overall patient outcomes.
By simplifying patients’ handling process, the platform helps reduce operations costs while significantly boosting the number of patients accessing healthcare services.
K Health’s primary care platform provides a full range of medical experiences, with assigned care providers offering services 24/7. The company has also partnered with leading healthcare systems like Cedars-Sinai to increase access and improve clinical outcomes as well as patients’ experiences.
