Colorado-based Health tech startup In-House Health has launched an AI-powered scheduling platform after recently raising $4 million in a seed funding round.
In-house health’s AI-backed nurse staffing workflows and scheduling platform aims to streamline management for modern nurse teams and combat the nurse shortage crisis in the US.
As announced by the company on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, the funding round was led by NEA and TMV, with companies from the preseed round, Vine Ventures, and Longevity Venture Partners, also making a significant contribution, boosting the company’s total investment to $5.4 million.
In-House Health is the brainchild of two healthcare professionals, Ari Brenner and Sergey Vasilenko, and a technical leader, Shachar Har Zvi, who collaborated to found the company in 2023. Brenner previously served as a Co-Founder and COO of Stellar Health, and Vasilenko worked as a critical care nurse before shifting to EMR/clinical informatics. Har Zvi joined from Google, where he worked as a technical leader.
In-House Health’s AI-powered Scheduling Platform

In-House’s platform is designed to help nursing leaders speed up their staffing and scheduling workflows by automating repetitive tasks. The platform’s algorithm is trained on a vast amount of patient records enabling it to identify patterns of bedside care and predict shift changes weeks earlier than normally expected.
As a result, the system can cut the time spent on scheduling by more than half and cut the labor cost by over 10% amid the spiraling costs for healthcare delivery. In-House Health platforms also help hospitals to schedule adaptively, giving them control and flexibility over workflows.
