A Clinician-founded generative AI company that simplifies administrative work for healthcare professionals, Anterior (formerly Co: Helm), has secured $20M in series A financing. The company will use the new capital to accelerate hiring and product development, making the prior authorization process seamless for healthcare payers.
The new round, led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA), also included participation from Blue Lion Global, Sequoia Capital, and Neo. With the new funding, Anterior aims to make prior authorization invisible, mimicking the communications that happen when someone swipes a credit card.
According to Interior’s announcement on Monday, it will use the latest capital infusion to scale up its growth by hiring and retaining the world’s best MedTech talents to maintain market standing and ensure its technologies remain current.
Florence: Clinical AI Co-pilot for Doctors and Nurses
Anterior’s AI-powered clinical co-pilot, Florence, leverages the power of generative AI to tackle the long-standing complexities in healthcare administration, helping doctors and nurses reduce their burden.
The AI solution aims to solve the long-standing challenges that technology has not adequately addressed by putting the perspective of health professionals at the center of everything and allowing all recommendations to be reviewed and approved by human clinicians.
With nurse shortage being a common challenge across the United States and other parts of the world, Anterior’s new AI-powered digital solutions cut the clinical administration burden, allowing them more time to focus on patients.
