This will integrate the platform of PracticeHub with its existing Cgov cloud-based quality management system.
Better Medical, the South Australia-based general practice clinics operator, engaged with the online practice management system provider PracticeHub. It is now initiating with Avant to help in enhancing the clinical and corporate level of governance.
Better Medical started its journey in 2015. It is running 85 clinics across South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania, and Queensland. It employs over 600 general practitioners. There are also seven doctor owners along with more than 900 support staff.
The chief medical officer, Dr. Colin Goodson at Better Medical, said that they had chosen PracticeHub for its better ability. It can easily centralize the management and oversight of the complete operation. It also has customizable features which will offer a framework to ensure better quality. Also, it will offer risk mitigation, accountability, and consistency in practice management across the group.
Another reason ranges to the ability to integrate the PracticeHub platform with the existing cloud-based quality management system of Better Medical. This management system is coming from a Brisbane-based healthcare software company known as Cgov. This integration will enable reporting of the clinical, work health, safety, and risk incidents. Also, it will enable the reporting for patient complaints which the healthcare providers can easily configure as per their specific needs.
This framework will allow the team to offer seamless management services to their GP clinics. It will also help them to focus on the improvement of health for the communities they are serving. PracticeHub has recently introduced a new application as part of its offerings for better solutions. One of these apps will alert the healthcare practitioner to renew their tasks of registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
The company has also come up with the introduction of an app that can manage the annual certificate of the doctors for insurance. It will also help to minimize the medico-legal risks that come up due to the manual collection of those certificates.
